We want to break the female 100 x 1-mile relay world record

To celebrate the incredible female running community in Cincinnati, we are attempting something audacious—breaking the world record for the female 100 by mile relay.
On Saturday June 14, 2025, in collaboration with local partners and sponsors, we want to gather some of the finest female runners in the Greater Cincinnati area to make this attempt. The current record was recently set in July of 2024 by a running club in Canada with a time of 8:57:26, breaking the record set by a San Francisco team in 2023.
With the talent in this area, we can break that record! The attempt will be held locally at St. Xavier High School’s track in Cincinnati. An average pace of 5:20 will need to be held in order to break the record.
(This event was originally scheduled for Sunday June 15, but in respect for Father’s Day, we have moved the event to Saturday.)
